UPGRADE ANNOUNCEMENT:
At PHYSnet, resources for JupyterHUB are served by our compute cluster.
In 2024 we have completed a comprehensive overhaul and upgrade of our compute cluster.
This JupyterHUB will also be upgraded to be compatible with the new cluster on
Monday, 30.06.2025 at 9:00 a.m.
The new JupyterHUB version will still be served on THIS WEBSITE (jhub.physnet.uni-hamburg.de). The URL address will not change!
You can already test & preview the new JHUB at
https://jhubx.physnet.uni-hamburg.de
Please check in advance if your workflow is still viable there to ensure a smooth transition.

Please take note of two particular changes:
1. Login to the new JHUB will require a successful signup for compute cluster access in advance
by each user individually.
2. There is no more access to the AFS filesystem.
